Types of trampoline centers: choosing the format

After you analyze the local market and understand what it lacks, you need to decide on the format of the trampoline center. From this choice depends on everything: the budget, equipment, types of services.

Trampoline centers come in three formats:

• Sports and training trampoline center. In such centers trampolines are used for training and sports activities on jumps, aerobics, fitness. At least half of the trampolines in such a center – sports. With this format, the entrepreneur will need professional instructors and trainers, as well as additional sports equipment.
  The advantage is that such a center with trampolines can be placed on the basis of ready-made gyms, and when choosing a place not as important high traffic as at the launch of entertainment formats. Classes in sports trampoline centers are held on a schedule.
• Entertainment trampoline center. Such trampoline centers are designed for entertainment. Anyone can visit them, regardless of age and athletic form.
  Trampoline hall in this case will be a lot of united trampolines of different sizes. Since the emphasis is on high attendance, trampolines for the hall are selected for wear and tear with nets for the commercial segment (are less pushing than the sports, but safer). Location of entertainment centers is desirable near the centers of attraction of people: in shopping malls, near resorts, recreation parks and other lively places.
  Such a center does not have a clear schedule of jumps: visitors come when it is convenient for them and the rates are paid by the time of stay: half an hour, an hour, 2 hours, unlimited and so on.
• Free (mixed) format. When choosing a free format entrepreneurs set in the premises as sports and entertainment trampolines, but are not limited to trampolines, adding to the “range” of other means of active recreation.
  These can be climbing walls and trampolines, slides, mazes, obstacle courses of all kinds, children’s towns and rope parks. Free visits and trainings, corporate parties and children’s birthdays can be held here. Such centers can be located near residential areas and on the outskirts, near parks and youth institutions.
  Because of this symbiosis, the mixed format is the most economically sustainable, but the costs of opening it are much higher because of the larger area.
